Application for the position of IT Support Specialist

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the IT Support Specialist position at your company as advertised on the social networking website LinkedIn.com. I believe that my background and qualifications make me an ideal fit for the position and that this job would be a great opportunity to widen my field expertise and knowledge of the industry.

Having more than 3 years of extensive experience in customer support, I am confident in not only resolving any problematic issues but also providing excellent service to end-users. In my previous jobs, I excelled at performing any software/hardware maintenance duties, configuring wireless access points, and creating regular backups. However, my number one priority has always been customer experience and satisfaction. For achieving exceptional results in this field, I have won the Customer Service Award, not once but twice.

In addition to professional experience, I also have a Computer Science degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich which just proves my life-long fascination over technologies and the IT industry. Moreover, three years ago, I became a Google IT Support Professional. These and other experiences helped me to develop proficient knowledge of multiple software programs and operating systems, for instance, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows/iOS/Linux, Freshdesk, LiveAgent, and Salesforce Essentials which are necessary for my job.

Last but not least, I believe that my achievements are great evidence of specific skills and abilities I have, which are needed to successfully execute the main job duties and responsibilities. I have never had a problem with communication with customers and have demonstrated important time management skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
