I am currently the Dean of Students at Sunnybank Senior School, where I oversee the administrative, behavioral, and academic progress of 750 students. As well as providing a safe and structured climate, I energetically support departments to ensure that all student programs are high quality.

Mirroring your requirements, I am deeply knowledgeable in district rules of ethics and conduct, best practices in teaching strategies, and data assessment/disaggregation. I execute decisions based on reasonable judgment, striving to provide equitable and fair treatment for all. I have a strong reputation for my decision-making and communication skills, alongside astute strategic, conflict resolution, and crowd management abilities. A recent achievement that I am particularly proud of is the highly-successful Restorative Discipline model that I implemented campus-wide. 

For me, this is not just a job – it’s a passion. I believe that an unconditionally warm approach and a positive learning environment are essential to facilitating personal, social, and intellectual development now and after students leave school. My goal is for students to develop a love for their studies and a deep respect for their teachers and each other. A strong indicator of my success is not just our 93% average pass rate, but the rare need to enforce disciplinary measures.
