As an Assistant Director of ESL Programs with 10 years of leadership and teaching experience in language school settings, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I recently returned from Italy, where I was ESL Academic Director at Medici International Language School in Florence for 6 years. Mirroring your requirements, I supervised teachers and directed ESL programs aimed at individuals and groups from beginner through to near-native fluency. 

As well as directing ESL programs, recruiting and mentoring teachers, and planning and delivering high-quality teaching in physical and virtual settings, I am experienced in administering and evaluating assessments in preparation for IELTS and TOEFL. I employ a range of traditional and progressive methodologies in the planning and delivery of instruction, with an emphasis on incorporating opportunities for experiential learning whenever possible. 

In addition to my ESL program leadership, people management, and teaching experience, I hold a Master of Education and a Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification.
