As a Vice Principal with three decades of leadership and teaching expertise in elementary, middle, and high school settings, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I am currently the Vice Principal of Sunnybank Elementary and Middle School in Dayton, OH, where I promote a robust academic environment, integrate the latest technology to enhance learning and teaching delivery, and role model strong moral values for 850 students and 26 staff members.

During my time at Sunnybank I have worked closely with the Principal to ensure alignment of our CTE offerings, which has directly contributed to the significant increase in students completing pathways. I encourage a range of traditional and progressive methodology in the planning and delivery of instruction, particularly pedagogically-focused learning solutions that seamlessly integrate new technology and encourage an innovative use of resources to enhance student learning inside and outside the classroom.

Prior to Sunnybank, I held a number of increasingly-responsible leadership positions in school districts throughout Ohio, including those of Middle School Vice Principal and Director of Curriculum at high school level. In each of these roles, I sought to inculcate academic excellence, a supportive teaching environment, as well as a spirit of genuine community among the student population. 

In addition to my professional experience, I hold an MA in Educational Leadership and a BA in Elementary Education. To further develop the leadership aspect of my expertise in response to changing global, social, economic, and educational trends, I am currently completing a Master of Educational Psychology.
