As a Petroleum Engineer with 4 years of field experience, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I am currently a Petroleum Reservoir Engineer at Halliwell Petroleum, where I help pinpoint the location and quantity of petroleum in underground reservoirs across Canada for internal and external clients. I am also a key participant in calculating likely extraction costs vs profit to determine whether or not to drill particular sites, and attend project meetings to deliver expert advice. This builds upon my 3-year JunoOil Graduate Program training, where as a Junior Reservoir Engineer I helped forecast petroleum production from both new and existing fields and collaborated in the design of economically-viable development plans.

In addition to my experience, I hold a Master of Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Geology. As well as solid expertise in technical and economic assessments, I excel at reservoir modeling, decline curve analysis, material balance, volumetrics, waterflood studies, pressure transient analysis, nodal analysis, flow assurance, and reservoir simulation. I am proficient in a wide variety of tools including ARIES, GAP, MBAL, and PROSPER.

Due to the pandemic, Halliwell has slashed its project pipeline for the next 2 years. I therefore seek a new field-based opportunity that will enable me to participate in pioneering projects.
