Dear Hiring Managers,

In my search for potential career growth opportunities, I was thrilled to find your job ad saying that you are looking to fill the Event Manager position at your company. As I have been following the Parks & Co., Inc. and its' work for many years now, it would be an honor for me to have a chance to join your team. Moreover, I was very excited to see how well my previous experience, education, and developed skills set align with the requirements stated by you in the job description.

I'm a Business Management graduate with a degree from the University of Surrey where I was among the top 5% of students with the best academic results. This experience provided me with a great opportunity to learn and gain expertise in different aspects of a business and taught me how to work and perform well in a team. What's more, I learned how to lead a group of individuals and successfully finish any assigned task or project. Besides academia, I participated in multiple clubs and societies and served as a Vice President of the Business Club for one year.

I am a performance-driven professional with a track record of extraordinary achievements and I worked as an Event Manager at Hilton Hotels & Resorts and DoubleTree by Hilton in the United Kingdom. Some of my daily work responsibilities included:

  • Coordination of room configuration, event registration, food ordering, and audio/visual equipment set-up; delegation of various responsibilities to assistants.
  • Development and management of event budgets, ensuring that events stayed within budget.
  • Collaboration with other departments and professionals to ensure that all activities were planned accurately and executed in a timely manner.
  • Completion of post-event feedback and reports to identify potential areas for improvement.

Throughout the years I have proved multiple times that I can work and perform well in fast-paced and deadline-driven business environments. Moreover, I possess an important ability to remain calm under pressure while solving complex problems and coming up with creative solutions. Therefore, I believe that I could be a great contribution to your team and company.
