As a Secondary School Teacher with 7 years of experience in high schools settings, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I began my career as a high school Mathematics Teacher in Wisconsin before relocating to Germany for 2 years to work as the Head of Mathematics and International Baccalaureate Diploma Coordinator for an international school. After moving back to the US and completing my Master of Educational Leadership, I joined Pentz High School in Ohio as Year 10 Classroom Teacher.

I see myself as an educator, not just a teacher. I encourage students to question their actions, the way that others live, and how we can use our knowledge to question the choices we make. I actively foster collaborations with school leadership and fellow teachers that promote a flexible, supportive, and dynamic learning environment. I am particularly pleased with championing the implementation of the cloud-based EduPage school management system for teachers, students, and parents. 

In addition to my teaching experience and Master of Educational Leadership, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education (Mathematics) and am a Google Certified Educator (Levels 1 and 2). 

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Pentz High School, and particularly appreciate the freedom I have been given to implement improvements in curriculum delivery. As the school is switching to online learning for the coming school year, I am seeking an equally-stimulating in-person opportunity at another school where I can make a similarly meaningful impact.
