As a High School Athletics Director with 8 years of athletics leadership and teaching experience, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

My current role as Head of Physical Education at Elite Academy mirrors your requirements. I direct day-to-day departmental operations and strategy on curriculum, assessment, teaching, learning, purchasing, and staff matters. As well as collaborating in the whole school strategic planning process for sports in alignment with the curriculum, I create and promote events for the after-school sports program, which create a sense of school spirit and community between high school teachers, students, and parents. I also budget and oversee the scheduling, planning, hosting, and promotion of home and away sports events, including training and monitoring coaches and teams.

In addition to my experience, I hold a Master of Educational Leadership, a Bachelor of Exercise Science, and a Level 2 First Aid with CPR qualification. From a young age I have been an avid athlete, with a passion for competitive athletic events at amateur and professional level. I have participated in 45 marathons so far, and will compete in the Tokyo and Boston Marathons later this year.

I have enjoyed my time at Elite Academy immensely. As the school will teach online this year due to the global pandemic, my role is no longer active. I am therefore seeking a stimulating opportunity with another high school where I can make a similarly positive impact.
