I currently teach part-time at the Institute for Further Education, where I provide instructional assistance to adult-age students to increase their reading, writing, and literacy skills in preparation for the GED high school equivalency exam. This includes assessing their needs, providing instructional assistance and classroom management, and referring students to intensive group or individual tutoring as needed. I work closely with fellow teachers to establish adaptations for students across all subject levels through individualized planning to ensure they have the skills needed to pass the GED.

In addition to my experience, I hold a Master of Education (Adult Education) and a Reading Specialist (Adult Literacy) certification.
