I feel that I would be a great addition to your team. My combined work history, educational background, and volunteer experiences have provided me with rich opportunities to develop the skills and knowledge to be successful in the Executive Search Associate role.

I am a two-time AmeriCorps alumnus who has specialized in capacity building and volunteer coordination. In my first AmeriCorps term, I served as one of two Peer Leaders for Volunteer Maryland. As a Peer Leader, my primary responsibility was to provide member support to 26 AmeriCorps members who served as Volunteer Coordinators at Volunteer Maryland’s nonprofit partner sites. I conducted biweekly 1:1 check-ins to keep track of individual member's service year goals; provided 1:1 mentoring/coaching; and aided the leadership team in facilitating monthly volunteer coordinator trainings. Additionally, I organized and facilitated monthly service projects, professional development workshops, and social events for my cohort.

In my second AmeriCorps term, I served as a Volunteer Coordinator for The DREAM Program in Philadelphia, PA. I supported two volunteer mentor chapters, based at Temple University, by helping mentors connect to DREAM's youth and families. Additionally, I provided guidance on how to improve recruitment and retention strategies, as well as how to boost overall volunteer engagement. I also worked with DREAM's Community Organizers and community partners to brainstorm and implement ideas to improve the program's sustainability. Lastly, I served on DREAM's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee where I helped develop workshops around a number of DEI topics.

Between my past experiences with service & volunteerism and my future career goals, my passion for enriching others' lives has been at the center of all that I do.
