As a licensed Couples Counselor with 7 years of clinical and private practice experience, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

In my current role as therapist at Willingdon Clinic in Sunnybank, I support active and former service personnel and their partners in navigating military-related psychological and psychosocial problems that directly or indirectly impact their relationships. Mirroring your requirements, this involves intake screening/assessment, goal setting, service planning, risk assessment, crisis intervention, making psychosocial/psychiatric diagnostic inferences, and documenting clinical interactions.

In addition to my experience, I hold a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Psychology. I am currently registered with the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

For me, being a Counselor isn’t a job - it’s a passion. I take huge pride in leveraging my therapeutic and clinical skills to support couples in working through obstacles that hinder their interactions.

I have enjoyed my time at Willingdon. My reason for leaving is solely based on my family’s decision to relocate. I am now seeking a stimulating opportunity closer to my new home where I can make a similarly positive impact.
