My father founded a successful construction business. I spent many years on residential, commercial, and industrial sites during my childhood, and completed several internships with the business during high school and university. Building inspection is much more than a job for me - it’s a family passion.

I am currently a Building Inspector with Sunnybank County Council. Mirroring your requirements, I review, assess, and approve building plans and calculations regarding structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing design, as well as construction aspects for compliance with local and state codes. I also conduct field inspections of buildings during construction or remodeling, provide guidance on permits and applications, and issue Notices of Dangerous Buildings/Unsafe Orders.

In addition to my experience, I hold a Bachelor of Construction Management and possess Certified Electrical Inspector (CEI), Certified Residential Building Inspector, and Certified Commercial Building Inspector qualifications.
