I am currently a Social Worker with the Sunnybank School District, where I work with 6 middle and high schools comprising a student population of 6,000. Alongside 5 team members, I handle case management, crisis intervention, and risk assessment needs. This typically entails identifying and assessing the social-emotional needs of assigned students, as well as serving as a liaison between schools and families to promote collaboration in educational planning.

Mirroring your requirements, I provide psychosocial assessments to assist in the determination of services, identify and implement therapeutic strategies to affect change in student behavioral and social interactions, and implement individual and group counseling programs. I also conduct home visits and collaborate with external agencies as needed.

In addition to my professional experience, I hold a Master of Social Work and am a Certified School Social Work Specialist. I have excellent knowledge of local resources, programs, and external agencies for referrals, as well as strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
