As a playwright with 20 years of experience in writing award-winning material, I apply with enthusiasm for the Playwright-in-Residence opportunity.

Over the course of my career, I have written 27 plays for stage and radio, all of which have gone into production. While I typically write dramatic material, I have also ventured into comedy on occasion. My most popular works include The Carry On, Emka & Emko, Lolz Rulz OK!, A Very Modern Ruffian, Hanky-Panky, and A Summer Breeze. I have been honoured with numerous awards, including the Antonyo Award, Giles Cooper Award, Meyer-Whitworth Award, and the Richard Imison Award.

I would be delighted to be selected as Playwright-in-Residence with your theatre. I have attended many performances there over the past 30 years, and it was the first theatre to produce A Very Modern Ruffian. I therefore have a strong connection to and wonderful memories of the theatre.
