As a Parking Attendant with 5 years of experience in public garage and rental car settings, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I am currently the Parking Attendant at Queen Street Parking Center, where I oversee a 4-story 550-spot public parking garage in downtown Ohio. Mirroring your requirements, I man the security guard booth, collect fees, check parked vehicles for valid tickets and passes, operate the boom gates, and direct users to available spots. I am also responsible for monitoring the security cameras, investigating suspicious activity, and reporting potential crimes-in-progress to the police.

This builds upon my previous role as Fleet Coordinator at Zippy Car & Truck Rentals, where I led rentals, technical supervision, inventory management, repair estimation, preventative maintenance, and inspection of a 50-vehicle fleet. 

I have enjoyed my time at Queen Street. As most downtown employees are working from home due to the pandemic, a team of parking attendants is no longer required. I now seek a new opportunity to manage parking for another organization.
