As an Instructional Aide with 2 years of experience in private and public school settings, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

In my most recent position as an Instructional Aide at Sunnybank Middle School, I supported the Year 3 teacher and 31 students. Mirroring your requirements, I created and implemented lesson plans and classroom materials, checked homework, supervised excursions, and marked mid-term assessments. Drawing upon my qualification in special needs education, I also held the role of Learning Support Specialist. Prior to this, I was a Year 4 Teacher Aide at Pentz Academy for one year.

My approach is based on a student-centred pedagogy, leveraging educational research and evidence-based learning practices. I proactively develop strong collaborative relationships with teachers to enable a harmonious approach in the classroom. As someone who is extremely proficient with technology, I am a huge advocate of using pedagogically-focused software, digital communications, and other technologies in the learning environment.

In addition to my Bachelor of Education, I hold a Special Education Teaching Certification and have completed several professional development courses in ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.
