As a Fleet Manager with 5 years of experience in rental car and corporate settings, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I am currently the Fleet Manager at Halliwell Enterprises, where I manage 6 people and day-to-day operations for 35 company vehicles (cars, vans, trucks) utilized by 90+ field sales, logistics, and delivery personnel. Mirroring your requirements, I oversee fleet maintenance and parking lot operations, supervise vehicle pick-ups/drop-offs, report service issues to Maintenance, and maintain detailed vehicle logs and reports. I ensure DOT and company safety regulations are followed, and work with Maintenance to keep vehicles moving and serviced at an optimal level of performance.

This builds upon my previous role as Fleet Manager at Zippy Car & Truck Rentals, where I led rentals, technical supervision, inventory management, repair estimation, preventative maintenance, and inspection of a 50-vehicle fleet. 

In addition to my experience, I hold a Bachelor of Automotive Engineering and completed the Federal Fleet Manager Certification Program (FFMCP). I possess deep knowledge of DOT rules & regulations and have excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and cost management skills.

I have enjoyed my time at Halliwell. As the company will significantly decrease its fleet due to the impact of the global pandemic, a Fleet Manager of my experience is no longer required. I now seek a new opportunity to manage fleet operations for another stimulating organization.
