As a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Doctor of Medicinal & Analytical Chemistry, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I am currently a Professor at the University of Sunnybank, where I teach undergraduate Foundations of Medicinal Chemistry and Introduction to Physiology and Pharmacology. I am also a Research Coordinator in the Department of Pharmacology, where I lead a number of exciting projects sponsored by industry and government. These typically involve the design, development, and synthesis of pharmaceutical drugs, as well as the evaluation of existing drug properties.

Per your requirements, I am familiar with coordinating teams of scientists in the synthesis of small molecules as ligands for biological targets including kinases, G protein-coupled receptors, ion channels, and antimicrobial targets.

I have enjoyed my time at the university, and am grateful for the excellent research opportunities offered. I now seek a senior industry position that will enable me to focus on longer-term R&D goals.
