I am currently the Interim Safety Coordinator at Linklater & Sons, a $27m/annum seafood processing plant in California. Mirroring your requirements, my job is to inspect work areas, safety equipment, and factory machinery to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies & regulations. I document safety inspections, identify areas/procedures of concern, and recommend corrective actions. This builds upon my previous role as Safety Manager at Gollam Enterprises, where in addition to the above, I was also responsible for delivering facility training programs. 

As well as inspection and compliance, I am fully trained as an Emergency Response Coordinator. I am medically qualified to wear a respirator and have achieved a satisfactory fit test for respirators. I am familiar with working in loud environments, in extreme temperatures, and with PPE.

In addition to my Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, I possess a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and am a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

I have enjoyed my time at Linklater & Sons. As my current role is on an interim contract basis, I am now seeking a permanent Safety Coordinator opportunity.
