Application for the Position of Greenhouse Worker

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to apply for the role of Greenhouse Worker, which I saw advertised on your website.

For the past 2 years I have been working as a Greenhouse Worker at Freedom Farm. I am responsible for flowers, vegetables, and other plants in the greenhouses, from planting and pruning through to overseeing their upkeep. Reporting to the Greenhouse Manager, I:

Transplant seedlings and rooted cuttings, pot and re-pot plants, and plant bulbs and seeds
Monitor the climate control systems to ensure optimal growing conditions
Prune trees, shrubs, and plants and report signs of insect or disease damage

I am able to handle heavy loads (up to 20kg), work efficiently in wet/humid environments, and bend, stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.

While I have enjoyed my time at Freedom Farm, I recently moved and am now looking for an opportunity closer to home.
