Application for UPS Driver

Dear Hiring Manager,

I would like to apply for the full-time Driver opportunity advertised on your website.

I am currently a part-time FedEx City Driver, which entails picking up and delivering freight between Service Centers and customers. Mirroring your requirements, I perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections, handle and secure freight with a forklift, pallet jack and hand truck, communicate with customers to agree pick-up/delivery times, and collect cash/checks for freight charges.

As well as my 6 years of driving experience with FedEx, I have a clean driving record, a valid class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with double/triple, hazardous materials, and tank endorsements, and have successfully passed random physical and drug tests.

As FedEx has no full-time positions available in my area, I was excited to learn about your opening.
