Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois the company provides critical communications, video security, and command center technologies, used by public safety agencies and enterprises. It was formed in 2011 by the division of Motorola, Inc., and is its legal successor; the former company's mobile phone division was spun off as Motorola Mobility, now part of Chinese technology company Lenovo.
