How to write your own Junior Product Line Manager resume?

1. Keep it relevant

Although this tip applies to any part of your resume, it's especially important for the creation of the work experience section. Since people tend to think that the longer it is the better, they include every little detail about their professional life in it. But this actually makes their resumes too long and disorganized. Therefore, it's much better to add only information which you feel is relevant to the job you're applying for. You should also consider talking more about your achievements than responsibilities as this will show to the hiring managers the specific results of your work. Finally, where possible, quantify your accomplishments to increase your chances of getting hired even more.

Junior Product Line Manager Work Experience Example

  • "Developed and implemented multiple new products which led to a significant increase in revenue - increased revenue by 20% in 2017 and 30% in 2018."

  • "Significantly improved customer satisfaction from 78% to 95% within 3 years and met or exceeded all annual business goals and objectives."

  • "Awarded Employee of the Month twice for constantly performing excellent work."

2. Mention important education

What education to include in my resume? And how to list it properly? You may have asked these questions multiple times and let me tell you that the answer is pretty simple. If it's relevant, include it!  Don't forget to also add any certifications or licenses which the recruiters might find interesting. On the other hand, don't try to mention everything at all costs, for example, including your high school studies if you have a master's degree and 10 years of work experience is not necessary and should be avoided. Just remember, it's all about relevancy. Speaking of the format of this section, use the reverse-chronological order - start with the most current things and work your way back.

Junior Product Line Manager Education Section Example

  • The International Business / University of Economics, Czech Republic (09/2012 – 06/2017)

    • "GPA: 3.98 (Top 10% of the Program)"

    • "Clubs and Societies: Business Club, Chess Club, Marketing Society"

  • Spanish Language / Bilingual Slovak-Spanish Grammar School, Slovakia (09/2007 – 06/2012)

    • "The 2012 Best Graduate Award winner"

3. Add contact information

This may sound trivial but you would be surprised how many people don't do it. However, including important personal details and contact information is key and should never be skipped. Of course, there are things which are necessary to add and others which ought to be left out. For instance, always include your full name, phone number, and email. All these should be put to a separate section which is usually placed at the very top of a resume. The resume above provides a great example of how to do it.
