As a BACB-qualified ABA Therapist with 3 years of experience working in school districts, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I currently work as an ABA Therapist for the Sunnybank school district’s One Step Forward, Two Steps Forward initiative, where I run individualized behavior intervention & curriculum programs for K-7 students with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities.

Mirroring your requirements, I work 1:1 with clients in school, community, and home settings. In close collaboration with parents, teachers, and intervention specialists, I apply the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to help clients socially and behaviorally. I teach specific skills and behaviors, aligned with the goals, objectives and strategies identified in their treatment plan, to decrease problem behaviors while improving focus, attention, memory, social skills, and academics. I have been recognized by schools for my high success rate after clients complete the program.

In addition to my professional experience, I hold a BACB certification, a Bachelor of Early Childhood Development, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychology.  

I have loved my time with Sunnybank. My decision to leave is solely based on my family’s decision to relocate. After researching your district in detail, I feel excited and confident about our mutual fit.
