I have been following Ginkgo for a year and completely agree with this statement.  After seeing the recent opening on your Business Development team, I knew that this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.

At the Air Force Academy, I participated in the then-cutting-edge fields of industrial microbiology and astrobiology.

Since then, I've found myself in several multifaceted leadership roles after completing my MBA and immersing myself in the Boston startup ecosystem.  Presently, I drive strategic partnerships within my current role on the Partner team and am piloting an initiative I founded: “HubSpot for Veterans.”

While the past 2+ years at HubSpot have been the most rewarding of my professional career, I was originally attracted to HubSpot because of their status as “the” unicorn of Boston.  

Since then, I’ve seen what it takes to go from scaleup to publicly-traded company and, like a number of HubSpot alumni that have gone on to other startups, I believe I can apply my unique experience to your Business Development team and further refine my passion -- and from that, my purpose.
