I am a Doctorate of Sociology graduate with a strong interest in mass and social media, and I am excited to apply for this opportunity.

Currently, I am employed as a Research Coordinator at the University of Sunnybank’s Office of Media Studies, focusing on the impact of mass media on millennials. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, where my responsibilities included teaching, grading, proctoring, and holding office hours.

I also contributed to the research and writing of "Chapter 2: Democracy and the Media" in Erick Miska’s (2017) Society and the Media in the 21st Century (Persimmon Press). With 6 years of research and teaching experience, along with a recent doctorate, a Master of Sociology and Social Research, and a BA in Psychology and Sociology, I believe I am well-equipped for this role.
