Dear Hiring Manager,

As a Radiation Protection Specialist with 1 year of experience, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I am currently a Radiation Protection Trainee at Halliwell Nuclear Station. Under the supervision of the Lead Technician, I control access and egress for Radiologically Controlled Areas and measure radiation/contamination levels. In addition, I perform radioactive material processing, packaging, shipment, and transfers as well as handling equipment setup, teardown, and movement. I also carry out painting, hydrolasing, laundry, and shielding activities as needed.

In addition to my trainee experience, I hold an Associate of Nuclear Science. As my traineeship is nearing completion, I am eager to take my skills to the next level.
