I am currently a Pool Medical Transcriptionist at Sunnybank Health Center. Mirroring your requirements, I transcribe medical reports (e.g. case histories, physicals, discharge summaries, operative reports, consultation reports) from recorded dictation. I proofread, review, and verify transcriptions for accuracy and quality, and correct errors in medical record number, patient name, procedure, date, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. This builds upon my earlier experience as an agency Medical Transcriptionist, where I completed temp assignments across Findlater County.

For me, medical transcription is fascinating work. I feel a great deal of pride in the accuracy and preciseness of my work, knowing that I have an invisible yet positive impact on patients, their families, and medical personnel. In addition to my professional experience, I hold a Bachelor of English Literature and a Certification in Medical Transcription (CMT).
