As an Assistant Principal with three decades of teaching and campus leadership experience across four states, I apply with enthusiasm for this opportunity.

I am currently the Assistant Principal at Sunnybank High School in Dayton, Ohio, where I have proactively promoted a robust academic environment, integrated the latest technology to enhance learning and teaching delivery, and role model strong moral values. During my time at Sunnybank I have ensured the alignment of our CTE offerings, which has directly contributed to the significant increase in students completing pathways. I also spearheaded the introduction of virtual learning software, blended learning, and a highly-successful Restorative Discipline model campus-wide. I am particularly pleased that I was able to secure 1:1 Mac Air access for each of our 925 students.

Prior to Sunnybank, I held a number of leadership positions within school districts in Maine, Florida, and Texas, including Interim Principal, Assistant Principal, and English Department Head. In each role, I sought to inculcate academic excellence, a supportive teaching environment, and a spirit of community among the student population. I developed a strong reputation for my astute decision-making, communication, strategy, administration, and financial management skills.

In addition to my experience, I hold an MA in Educational Leadership and a BA in Secondary Education. I have also completed over 600 hours of professional development training.
