Senior Revenue Accountant, Operations at Delinea

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our growing Finance team, with a clear orientation towards leadership and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Revenue Operation Manager to support the monthly close and management process to ensure that revenue reporting follows our company revenue policies, procedures, and external regulations. This role will be an integral part of the Delinea Revenue Team, regularly interfacing with Order Management, Sales Operations, IT support, Vendor Support, and Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Month-end and quarter-end close activities regarding revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP (ASC 606).
• Support the Company's revenue recognition tools: RevPro and RevLock.
• As necessary, assist in preparing the monthly management reporting package, flux analyses, and support financial reporting processes.
• Manage and support the execution of quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits by external auditors related to revenue.
• Support Revenue area key SOX controls and compliance for the Revenue Team.
• Design, document, implement and maintain effective revenue tools, and ensure the revenue recognition in the system aligns with the company's revenue policies.
• Assist in Merger & Acquisition activities, including due diligence integration.
• Help lead projects related to financial systems and business process transformation/upgrades as necessary.
• Continue to streamline and develop scalable processes and policies for revenue accounting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven experience driving performance in global, complex technology companies, specifically with exposure to IP licensing in Software and Cloud subscriptions.
• Knowledge of ASC 606.
• Significant experience working in a public company.
• Operates with a sense of ownership and urgency, employing a hands-on operational approach with clear and timely communication to stakeholders.
• Proficient in NetSuite and RevPro.
• Exposure to the Security Software industry is strongly preferred.
• Excellent teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organization levels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields (required).
• CA / ACCA (UK) or CPA (USA) (strong differentiator).
• 3-5 years of experience in a high-growth Software Company or public accountant firm with excellent attention to detail and high proficiency in Excel.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with a Big 4 firm (US/UK Offshore Center of Excellence) is strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in revenue and managing teams and experience in supporting revenue accounting operations in a technology sector company (required).
