Swimlane is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Sales Operations Analyst to build a SFDC management program to support Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and the company executives. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Sales Operations, Sales Leadership, and Marketing Leadership to build deep integrations and workflows supporting the company go-to-market strategy.


As the Sales Operation Analyst on our team, you will be responsible for supporting sales processes, sales training, creating methods and procedures documentation, creating reports and providing insights to Sales leadership. You’ll also rely on your experience to perform technical updates in Salesforce. This will be a highly visible role that will require you to build strong cross-departmental relationships, understand business requirements, and effectively deliver results to our internal stakeholders. You will report directly to the Sr Director of Sales Operations and Administration.


In this Sales Operations Analyst position, you will:

  • Assist with the strategy for and execution of sales, marketing and client success technologies to deliver a single version of the truth to enable business-level analytics
  • Assist in new user trainings and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
  • Effectively act as the liaison between Sales and other functional groups including Revenue Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Customer Success.
  • Order processing – Opportunity management – working with Sales to ensure quotes are accurate and approved based on standard T&Cs as well as Closing Won/Lost Opportunities.
  • Aid in bookings and revenue forecast process/pipeline/forecast management
  • Document administration including coordinating reviews between Sales and Legal including Contracts, Agreements, and NDA’s.
  • Assist in the administration and support of 3rd party applications; Optimizing the use of applications to take advantage of new features and to improve overall user experience among users.
  • Create Salesforce.com dashboard reports and utilize Salesforce.com data for additional processes and analytics
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
  • Optimize sales efficiency by refining processes and making systematic enhancement
  • Load and manage all content related sales operations documents
  • Assist in the pursuit of data cleanliness (in Salesforce)
  • Support weekly/monthly/quarterly operational reporting and executive dashboards
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to Management 
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned


To be successful in the Sales Operations Analyst role, you ideally will have:

  • Demonstrated competence in Salesforce administration, reporting, and management
  • Understanding of core marketing operations concepts (lead/opportunity conversion, pipeline development) and experience developing reporting and analytics in these areas for enhanced business insight
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Ability to think creatively and analytically to solve problems
  • Ability to travel to support company growth and needs


To be considered for this Sales Operations Analyst role, you must have:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in Sales Operations Role
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Demonstrated Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel or Google Sheets and Docs experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization skills
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A plus: Experience working with a global sales team (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
  • A plus: Experience with quoting/CPQ tools, Yesware, Outreach, Loopio, Whistic, Allbound, SaaS Optics.
