They have to be able to tell the difference between a more beneficial and a less advantageous contract and use easy to understand language to explain these ins and outs to their employer. Additionally, this job can be done better by individuals who also know the technical aspect of a contract. These can be very different for specific industries. The annual salary for Contract Managers varies by qualification and experience but generally, the median pay is around $50k in the US.
