How to write your own Mechanical Engineering Intern resume?
1. Describe all work experience
As a university student or a fresh graduate, which, if you are applying for an intern position is probably your case, you don't have much work experience to offer. But you should definitely include the one you have. Any part-time and summer jobs, volunteering or previous internships are good and should be described in your resume. It will help you to show to the recruiters that you don't only focus on education but want to grow professionally too. Don't forget to also include and explain specific work responsibilities and main duties for each experience.

The robot was able to collect data from the patients and the environment thanks to environment recognition. A small AI-enabled user interaction and communication, as well as connection with other CPUs by means of two Internet of Things platforms."
2. List your education, certifications, and awards correctly
Remember, a resume is not only about the work experience. There are other sections equally or sometimes even more important. Of course, it often depends on the position you are applying for but in the case of interns, all sections from the title of this tip should be included. However, mentioning them is not enough and you have to do it in a proper way, which means using the reverse-chronological order (start with the most current thing and work your way back) and including only the relevant stuff. The awards section of the resume above provides a great example of how to do it.

3. Be consistent!
This goes for resume for any position in any industry. Do not change the formatting, styles, fonts, etc. throughout your resume. If you do that, it might make your resume to look less professional and elegant and that's something you probably don't want. Don't forget to also include important contact information and personal details like name, phone number, and email address. At the end double-check your resume to find and correct any typos and errors. If you follow all these steps you will significantly increase your chances of getting your dream job much faster.
