If you decide to study not only physics but science in general and get a place at a good university, you should be prepared for years of hard work and challenging assessments. However, if you're passionate about physics, a degree from a prestigious school might be the best career step for you. Moreover, you will have a chance to learn from the best industry professionals and might also work on projects which could have a real impact on the world of science. Besides maths, you'll gain extensive knowledge of mechanics, optics, astronomy, statistics, etc., as well. After graduating, you should also be able to use multiple coding languages and possess at least a basic knowledge of computer science.

How to write your own Physics Student resume?

1. Focus on your education

As a student, you probably don't have much relevant work experience which would show off your qualities and strengths, and that's completely normal and okay. The recruiters understand that while studying at a university, you do not have enough time to get a job and work 40 hours a week. However, that doesn't mean that your resume doesn't have to be perfect. Just instead of work experience, you should mainly focus on the education section. That being said, you ought to add any academic achievements, extracurricular activities, relevant coursework, and awards to it. You could also consider putting the education section first, right behind the resume summary.

2. Include action verbs where possible

You should aim to display yourself as a pro-active individual in your resume. To do this, when describing your accomplishments, skills, or work responsibilities, try to always use action verbs, for example, developed, implemented, researched, etc, instead of passive language. These will also help you to portray your experiences in an energetic way. What's more, they can be added to basically any resume section and will significantly increase your chances of getting hired. Just don't overdo it!
